Launching against a fixed date

Black Hat is one of two dates that set the cybersecurity launch calendar, and a deadline nobody moves. We rebuilt the ZEST Security story for a relaunch timed to it. Working back from a conference date changes the work: the question stops being what the brand could eventually be and becomes what can be true, and defensible, by August. Anything that cannot be evidenced by then waits for the next window, and saying so early is more useful than optimism.
